Ji Ye Eun Reveals She Received Hate Messages After Burnout Confession “Comments Saying I Became Arrogant Snapped Me Out of It”
On the March 30th episode of SBS’s variety show “Running Man“, the members competed in a race titled “How an Imoogi Becomes a Dragon”. Guests Yook Sungjae and Kim Ji Yeon appeared on the show.
During the opening segment, Yoo Jae Suk cautiously asked Ji Ye Eun, “Has your burnout improved?” Ji Ye Eun then mentioned her previous confession where she said “I drink because life feels boring” and revealed that she had received many direct messages (DMs) criticizing her after that.
She shared, “I felt like I had to keep working. I got a lot of messages saying I’d become arrogant. It really snapped me out of it. My mom also scolded me a lot and told me to pray and repent.”
When Yoo Jae Suk added “Sometimes you need that kind of wake-up call”, Ji Ye Eun responded determinedly “From now on, I’m going to work every single day”, drawing laughter from the cast.
